This Route has some dirt road so if you have a rental car you may not be able to do.
Click on the link that is a google maps link and should open the route on your device for direction.
This trip is a comfortable day out stopping for lunch at the Great Lakes hotel, if you leave around 8 till 9am you will return around 5ish depending on what you stop to see.
